Chamomile Maroc Essential Oil 10ml

From the plant family Asteraceae (Compositae).

Distilled in Morocco, the plant originates from north west Africa and southern Spain.

Obtained by steam distillation of the Moroccan chamomile herb. 

Antispasmodic, cholagogue, emmenagogue, hepatic and sedative.

Maroc is a gentle oil and is regarded as a good oil to use in cases of insomnia or when you're struggling to drop off at night. Aromatherapists may recommend that you blend a couple of drops of Maroc with Lavender in a burner or vaporiser and set it going half an hour before bedtime. It's also thought to help to relieve headaches and migraines and is a useful oil to have around in times of emotional stress. 

It's a good oil to use on children (always well diluted, suitable for 6 months+) in massage or in the bath. In massage your child will love the tactile feeling of being massaged and it may help to calm them before bedtime or when they are suffering discomfort. Alternatively you can add 1 drop to a tablespoon of milk (this helps it disperse in the bath water) to achieve similar results.

Chamomile Maroc blends especially well with Cypress, Lavender, Vetivert, Cedarwood, Oakmoss and Labdanum.
