Cautions
Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. If you are pregnant, lactating, taking medication, under medical supervision or under the age of 18 it is advisable to consult a GP prior to taking any supplements. Discontinue use and consult a GP if any adverse reactions occur. Do not exceed stated dose.

Take two capsules a day with food or as directed by your healthcare professional.

If you are using the magnesium to support sleep, take it 1 to 2 hours before you go to bed - this is the time it takes to be absorbed and reach maximum levels in your system. 

Warnings
If you are experiencing loose stools, try lowering your dose to one capsule a day for a week, to give you gut time to adapt. 

All magnesium supplements will reduce absorption of certain antibiotics, bisphosphonates (to treat osteoporosis) and medication to treat thyroid deficiencies. Do not take this or any magnesium supplement within 4 hours of these medications - if in doubt, always ask your pharmacist to check. 

People with any kidney disease should not take magnesium supplements unless under supervision by a suitably qualified doctor.
