How To Take

Take two capsules daily with food or as directed by your healthcare professional.

You can maximise the amount you absorb by taking magnesium citrate with food containing healthy oils or protein. 

Warnings

If you are experiencing loose stools, try lowering your dose to one capsule a day for a week, to give you gut time to adapt. Alternatively, you can switch to taking magnesium glycinate or a magnesium complex instead. 

All magnesium supplements will reduce absorption of certain antibiotics, bisphosphonates (to treat osteoporosis) and medication to treat thyroid deficiencies. Do not take this or any magnesium supplement within 4 hours of these medications - if in doubt, always ask your pharmacist to check. 

People with any kidney disease should not take magnesium supplements unless under supervision by a suitably qualified doctor.
