SynoVital provides Hyaluronic Acid from a vegetarian source. Hyaluronic Acid is a special mucopolysaccharide occurring naturally throughout the human body. It is found in the greatest concentrations in the synovial fluid of joints, the vitreous humour (fluid) of the eye, and most abundantly in the skin. As we age, our bodies may produce less and less hyaluronic Acid.

Its function in the body is, amongst other things, to bind water and lubricate movable parts of the body, such as joints and muscles. Its consistency and tissue friendliness allows it to be used as an excellent moisturiser and it may promote wound healing. Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most hydrophilic molecules in nature and has been described as 'Nature's Moisturiser'.

SynoVital contains hyaluronic acid that is derived from an extracellular protein of a bacteria in a laboratory. Since it is naturally present in the body and is not derived from animal tissue, hypersensitivity to SynoVital is not a problem. There are no side effects.
