How To Take

Take one (1) tablet daily with food and plenty of water or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Because biotin is so gentle on the stomach and easily absorbed, you can take it at any time of day. 

What matters most is consistency. Since biotin is water-soluble, any excess is simply passed out of the body, so remember to take your tablet daily to keep steady levels in your system.

Warnings

Biotin supplements cause inaccurate results in several blood tests. It does not affect your health status, it just affects how the test works. Stop taking your biotin supplement 3 days before any blood tests, and also tell your doctor that you have been taking Biotin. 

Some of the tests that can be affected by taking biotin tablets include Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs), Troponin Tests, Hormone Tests (e.g., FSH, LH) and Vitamin D Tests. Taking these blood tests while using biotin as a supplement may hide a health problem, or may suggest you have a medical condition that you do not have.
