As an experienced osteopath I have worked in busy clinics, offering safe and effective osteopathic care. Treatment is offered across a broad age range – from babies to the very elderly. I primarily treat people with problems associated with the musculo-skeletal system, focusing on the person as a whole - in order to promote optimum health.
Osteopathy serves to encourage and assist the body’s healing mechanisms. Problems helped by osteopathy include pains to the back, neck, shoulder and knee. Other commonly treated problems include pain in the low back or pelvis during pregnancy, colic in babies, migraine, asthma also arthritic pain and stiffness.
Treatment is tailored to the person’s individual needs; this includes manual techniques, (which may involve gentle soft-tissue release, stretching, manipulation, joint articulation/mobilization, gentle traction) as well as advice relating to physical activity, lifestyle, diet, posture and ergonomics.
Osteopathic care is an option for the whole family
